Gold deals on Moscow Exchange fall 13.3% to 37 tns in Jan–Nov
MOSCOW, Dec 4 (PRIME) -- The physical volume of gold deals on the Moscow Exchange decreased 13.3% on the year to 36.5 tonnes in January–November, the exchange said in a statement on Tuesday.
The amount of deals with silver more than quadrupled on the year to 7.092 tonnes in the period.
In monetary terms, gold and silver deals amounted to 94.4 billion rubles compared to 107.6 billion rubles a year ago.
In November, the combined volume of deals with gold and silver reached 7.6 billion rubles, in physical terms 2.9 tonnes of gold and 3.1 tonnes of silver.
